Intermediate Developer

Who you are

You are a junior-to-intermediate tech-agnostic developer looking for a step up. A transformer, a relationship-builder, a pitch-in-wherever-I’m-needed team player; you have a few years of experience working in start-ups or insurance. You want to learn Ruby-on-Rails or expand your current skill set. You are looking for a chance to join a team that is building, scaling and automating across a product pipeline from user experience to insurance data reconciliation and reporting. If you’re the kind of person who creates the solutions you want to see; who builds the applications you want to use and who provides the experience you want to have, then we want to talk to you.

As our new Intermediate Developer:

  • You have multiple years of hands-on experience with:
    • Ruby-on-Rails or an equivalent framework and the desire to learn Rails quickly.
    • Relational databases (PostgreSQL).
    • Building and scaling user-focused mobile applications.
  • You want to make a difference working on mission-critical systems.
  • You know how to write clean, easy-to-understand and well-tested code quickly.
  • You have outstanding oral and written skills. You can translate business to technical and vice versa easily.
