Executive Assistant/Office Manager

Cover is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support the executive team. This role encompasses both large and small needs of the business. You will be expected to interact with employees within all levels of the organization and perform regular administrative and clerical tasks. The Executive Assistant will be expected to support the CEO and take care of day to day office manager duties.

Job duties: 

  • Proactively manage the day-to-day needs of the CEO to ensure he is prepared and organized for all internal and external meetings and events; including email, calendar management, booking travel, and any last minute tasks or errands are a small sample of duties. 
  • Successfully manage important projects with a hands on approach that facilitates the executive's ability to effectively lead the company. 
  • Prioritize conflicting demands; handle matters efficiently, and follow through on projects to successful completion. 
  • Coordinate internal events, corporate functions, lunches and dinners 
  • Manage day to day tasks associated with any office needs including coordinating cleaning, maintenance, mail shipment, snack fulfillment, and greeting guests when they arrive.

Ideally, you’ll: 

  • Embody the Cover team’s values and represent Cover as a top notch brand ambassador 
  • Have 2+ years experience in a similar role. 
  • Be sharp, meticulously organized, highly intuitive, and able to anticipate up-to-the-minute needs. 
  • Proactively anticipate next steps on administrative tasks.
  • You have experience with Microsoft Office and Google Apps.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft, edit, and proofread speeches and presentation material. 
  • Exhibit sound judgment and withhold the ability to make reasonable decisions in the absence of direction.
